A Few Foundation Facts
Foundation History
The Mike Tice Foundation partners with charitable organizations in four states. These organizations support a variety of youth programs both during and after the school year. In Washington state we partner with the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound and Thurston County. In Thurston County we provide Full Scholarships for Youth Experiencing Housing Insecurity. In Mason County at the North Mason Teen Center and in Kitsap County at the Bremerton Branch we provide Scholarships for Teens so they can have FREE Club Memberships. In “Minnesota Vikings Country” we are Proud Partners of the Twin Cities Firefighters and their Operation Warm. This program provides winter coats for kids in need. In my hometown of Central Islip, NY we established the Lois and Jack Tice Memorial scholarship which is presented each year to two deserving student athletes. This year the scholarship winners were Ingram Burnett and Jaida Mills. We partner each year with Ryan’s Reason which is a charitable organization in Buffalo, NY. Ryan’s Reason raises funds and awareness for Polycystic Kidney Disease as well as to assist those going through the loss of a child. We provide one-time grants to numerous charitable organizations and schools. In 2024 we helped provide new bleachers for the Oakville School District in Washington state, donated funds to help install a new weight room at Liberty High School in Las Vegas and we purchased a one- man blocking sled for Parkway South High School in St Louis, MO. With the Support and dedication of our volunteers, our fabulous corporate partners and of course our celebrity guests, we believe we can help shape the lives of our Nation’s Youth in a positive and impactful way. Please join us and help make a difference.
It was 2011 when my family and friends from New York, Minnesota
and Seattle raised about $25,000 at an event at the Carson Valley Inn
in Minden, NV. We decided the money would go to the Boys & Girls
Club of Western Nevada Carson Valley Branch to help build a new
clubhouse for “the kids”. Between 2011 and 2018 with the help of a
donation “match” from a very close friend, we raised over $1.6 million
for the Carson Valley Branch of the B&G Club. In 2024 the Boys & Girls
Club of Western Nevada opened the new clubhouse in Minden, NV.
In 2019, The Mike Tice Foundation was formed, and we made a
commitment to raise money for other charitable organizations in
addition to the Nevada club. Thanks to our friends, sponsors, and our
celebrities, in 2024 we donated over $160,000 to twelve charities in
five states. For the 4th year in a row our Celebrity Golf Event at the
Clearwater Casino Resort in Suquamish, WA was a huge success. We
look forward to our 2025 Celebrity Golf Event on July 13-14.
We continue with our goal of providing charity, hope and love to the
many great organizations and causes that help shape our nation’s
youth.
