Mission Statement

The Mike Tice Foundation was established by my wife Diane and me in 2019 to support numerous charitable events, organizations and causes. We have committed ourselves to raise money for organizations that help the youth in our communities. We would like to support the youth in the Northwest and throughout the United States through such organizations as Boys & Girls Clubs, Back Packs for Kids, Coats for Kids, scholarships and mental health programs. With the dedication of our volunteers, staff members and partners we believe we can help shape the lives of our country's youth in a positive and impactful way. Join us to help make a difference.

It was 11 years ago that I started a two day charity golf event at the Carson Valley Inn in Minden, NV. The participants in the event were my family and friends from New York, Minnesota, Seattle and across the country. That first year was 2011 and we raised about $25,000 though a raffle, live and silent auctions and a golf tournament. Mike Pegram, my friend and owner of the Carson Valley Inn, and I decided the money would go to the Boys & Girls Club of the Carson Valley to help with the funding of a new clubhouse for "the kids". We have raised over $1.2 million for the Club. About three years ago, we invited the local Carson Valley community to get more actively involved in our mission and man did they ever. I am excited to say because of the Valley's involvement we are very close to achieving our goal of a new clubhouse for the youth of the Carson Valley.

In 2019, my wife Diane and I started The Mike Tice Foundation and committed ourselves to raise money for other charitable events, organizations and causes. I love the two day format we use for our Charity Weekend in Minden, NV and we were going to use a similar format this August 15-16 at the Clearwater Casino Resort in Suquamish, WA. Thanks to our friends, sponsors and our celebrities in 2020 we raised over $100,000 during the inaugural Mike Tice Foundation Celebrity Golf Event to support eight wonderful service organizations. We are pleased to continue with our goal of providing charity, hope and love to the many great organizations and causes that help shape our nation's youth.

While things certainly did not go as originally planned for 2020, we can not thank everyone enough who came together on August 3rd at Salish Cliffs Golf Club to make the inaugural Mike Tice Foundation Celebrity Golf Event a tremendous success; helping to raise more than $100,000 to support some great service organizations. We hope you had a great time making new friends and fond memories, all while raising funds for some well-deserving service organizations.
